Since 2002, the Strategy and Innovation Office of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) has been facilitating DesignShops® to support members of VUMC collaborate and accelerate innovative solutions to some our most pressing problems in healthcare.

The Strategy and Innovation Office provides services that facilitate VUMC customers towards achieving their strategic goals. This internal workshop focuses on how to use the models, patterns, and tools used in DesignShops® in the healthcare setting.

Invitees to this pilot event include potential new practitioners, fellow practitioners in sister methodologies, partners who support our clients before/during/after events, and current practitioners within the VUMC team.

The event will be led by Peter Durand, a DesignShop® facilitator and graphic recorder with over 20 years of experience working with corporate and nonprofit teams in the U.S., Europe, Australia, and China.
